Urban Decay has revamped, restocked and replaced its entire lipstick collection and it will be released on June 5, 2016. Pioneering this campaign is none other than Ruby Rose. The starlet from the TV series ‘Orange is the New Black,’ who embodies this collection’s vibrancy of edgy decadence.
If you hadn’t already heard from major makeup stores (Sephora, Nordstrom) or blog pages (Refinery29) then I would like to formally announce that Urban Decay has kissed adieu to their old lipstick’s and introduced the new ‘Vice’ in its place. This collection of amazing shades are truly vices in the making. It comes in 100 addictive shades with 6 indulgent finishes all in the price of $17 a stick.
If you have been penny pinching and skimping on girls night out just to get your hands on those hot ticket Kylie Lip Kit then we are in the same boat. However, our waiting time could be considerably shortened with the newest release of Vice. The lipstick is composed of, “a butter blend to condition; antioxidant vitamins C and E; a non-dragging application; long-lasting moisture; and softness thanks to aloe vera, avocado, babassu, and jojoba oils. The finishing polish of a Mega Matte, Comfort Matte, Cream, Metallized, Sheer, and Sheer Shimmer.”
If you follow Karen Yeung on Youtube or SnapChat you would have seen a preview of samples from this collection as Urban Decay sent a couple of lucky individuals a few of their new colors they were planning to launch. A couple of shades I’ve been coveting are: Conspiracy, Pandemonium, Naked, Wildfire, Studded, Backtalk, 1993, Disturbed, Oblivion, Backdoor, Tampered, Uptight, Carnal, 714, Cruel, Wrath, Slowburn, and Crash.
Fortunately there is still time to filter through the colors of what I MUST have and what I can save for later. You can obviously tell #LipstickIsMyVice.
